TSO Energy Platform

FGSZ Plc. TSO is the operator of the natural gas transmission system, and the coordinator of the national inter-cooperating natural gas system. Accordingly, it keeps operative collaboration with all national and several foreign gas market actors. For gas traders this means the management for capacity allocation, shipping duty nomination, and matching, and accounting. With respect to system operators, FGSZ performs gas traffic matching with TSO neighbourhood operators and splitting factual gas quantities to shippers.

TSO IT Platform (IP) supports operative gas market business processes

The TSO IT platform supports the every day business practice for all actors in the gas market. This is provided by unified web access, using authorization customized by gas market permissions.

The main features of IP are the following:

  • Capacity management: Summarized consumption demand proposal; long-term, annual, monthly and daily capacity demand. Capacity contract and bilateral capacity trade management. Capacity auctions.

  • Nomination: TSO shipping demand entry for shippers; nomination business checks are applied.

  • Measurement data: Measurement data management and service.

  • Allocation:  Splitting difference between nominated and measured quantities to shippers on a daily or monthly basis. Both automatic default allocation generation, and manual NNO allocation is provided.

  • Operative matching: Arrangement of shipper nominations sent to TSO and to NNOs, notifying concerned actors about differences.

  • Support operation tasks: Planning preventive maintenance jobs, managing hydraulic data related to them. Interruption and restraint support.

  • Ergonomic GUI: User-friendly screens checked by software ergonomist. All IP partner features are available on web surfaces.

  • Excel files’ exchange: Required data can be downloaded and uploaded using Excel files in a specific format.

  • Server-to-server connection: Data transfer between IP and the partners’ IT Platforms is also provided via webservices. Using this technology, EASEE-GAS-compliant XML messages can be exchanged. This solution is especially efficient when moving larger data amounts.

  • NFKP-integration: IP and NFKP (from Hungarian abbreviation, the Daily Natural Gas and Capacity Trading Platform) are in a direct online connection. Accordingly, IP notifies NFKP immediately when nominations were saved or bilateral trades were bound. This provides automatic and proper capacity limits’ update on the marketplace. Similarly, all relevant orders created or trades bound on NFKP are automatically shown between the capacity and nomination data of the respective shippers. Allocation data of balancing trades are sent from IP to NFKP.
