Ákos Füzi is the co-founder and chief executive officer of IP Systems, the Hungarian market leader in IT platforms for the gas market.
He solely deals with energy market software platforms since 2005. He founded IP Systems Ltd. in 2008 in order to give efficient IT solutions for this industry. He was a business analyst, business developer & project manager on several software development projects in the field of gas & electricity trade. He worked out custom optimization algorithms & operational systems for the top energy industry participants in Hungary.
Before 2005 he worked 10 years in the biggest Hungarian pharmaceutical company (Gedeon Richter Plc), he was also the country manager of the subsidiary in Tokyo for 4 years. Ákos Füzi is committed to the Japanese management methods which he successfully adopted in the management of IP Systems.
He graduated as a technical engineer at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 1993, and gained his postgraduate degree of Economics at Budapest University of Economics in 1994. He obtained energy market trader qualification at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2006. Ákos Füzi regularly shares his knowledge of the energy market at international industry events and post-gradual university courses.
István Gáti, Chief Technology Officer & Delivery Manager joined IP Systems in September 2011. He is leading all the company’s software development activities and the delivery of IT services.
Istvan has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry in various positions. He spent the major part of his career in Germany, the most formative years with the SAP AG. He learnt the profession from the basics, working as a software developer and project manager before he fulfilled several technical and people management positions in software development as well as in consulting. Finally as Vice President he was playing a major role in the establishment and development of SAP Labs Hungary. Here he became acquainted and introduced agile software development methods, which essentially characterize the working style of IP Systems as well.
He arrived to IP Systems from Nav’N Go, where he had been fulfilling a similar position as Director of Technology.
Istvan’s original profession is Electrical Engineering; he graduated at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 1988.
Ádám Gémesi is the associate founder of IP Systems Ltd., and he works as an executive business analyst on several IT energy platform development projects.
From 2000 he has been working as a project leader and sales consultant in the field of portal management, document management and CRM solutions. He has been focusing on gas market processes since 2005, therefore, he became an expert as a business analyst in this field. He was the head of the analyst team, which successfully developed the IT platform for the Földgázszállító Zrt., the Hungarian TSO
He has an electrical engineer BA degree from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, then he gained MBA in 2003.
Tamás Hock, a co-founder of IP Systems Ltd., directs the IT development. He started his career as a Java programmer at Daten-Kontor and developed business process software for example to Hungarian Telecom. He joined DSS Consulting in 2002 as a Java/Oracle system developer, then he worked as senior developer mainly on portal projects. He moved to Synergon in 2005, participated in many IT related projects for the gas industry and financial companies. He graduated as an economist, programmer & mathematician at the University of Szeged.
